Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CJ Singh, Sales Representative, Real Broker Ontario Ltd., Brokerage ("CJ", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website (www.cjsinghhomes.ca), register for the client listings portal, or fill in one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who is responsible for your information

Facebook and Instagram lead forms
When you fill in one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram (for example to join a pre-construction list, ask about a project, or request a buyer or seller consultation), Meta sends us what you entered on that form.
- What we collect: your name, phone number, email address, and your answers to the questions on the form (such as the city you are interested in or when you plan to buy). Nothing is taken from your Facebook or Instagram profile beyond what the form shows you.
- Why: to contact you about the real estate interest you expressed — by phone call, text message or email — and to send you the information you asked for. The first contact may come from CJ's office line or assistant on his behalf.
- Consent: submitting the form is your consent to be contacted about that request. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or contacting CJ directly, and we will stop.
- Where it lives: in CJ's own client records and business systems. It is not sold, and it is not shared with other agents or advertisers.
Meta's own handling of what you enter on its platforms is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
The client listings portal
- What we collect: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your acceptance of the terms of use, and a record of your use of the portal — sign-ins, searches (the criteria you used), and the time and network address of each. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
- Why: to operate the portal as a Virtual Office Website under the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (PropTx) rules, which require us to verify each registrant's email address, record acceptance of the terms, keep an audit trail of access, and screen out commercial use; to respond to your inquiries; and, with your consent, to contact you about your real estate needs.
- Who sees it: CJ Singh and Real Broker Ontario Ltd., Brokerage. Your registration record and audit trail may be shared with PropTx for auditing and/or legal purposes if PropTx requests it under the MLS® Rules.
- How long: registration records and the audit trail are kept for at least 180 days after your password's validity expires, as the VOW rules require, and otherwise only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Contact forms, calls and texts
If you contact us through this site, by phone or by text, we keep what you tell us — your name, how to reach you and what you asked about — so we can follow up and keep track of your file. Calls and texts to CJ's office line may be answered by an assistant and are recorded in his business systems for that purpose.
Service providers
Your information is stored and processed by the service providers that host this website and run CJ's business systems — web hosting, email, telephone and text messaging, and customer records. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. Some of these providers are located outside Canada, so your information may be subject to the laws of those countries.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other real estate agents, developers or advertisers. We do not use it for anything other than the real estate purposes described here.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent to be contacted, at any time — call 416-276-2555 or email cjsingh.realtor@gmail.com. Deleting your portal information closes your portal account. If you are not satisfied with how a privacy request was handled, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new "last updated" date.
